In 2025, Benjamin Franklin Senior High School partnered with ATTAIN Design and Marketing Communications for a focused photography and video engagement aimed at capturing the real rhythm of campus life. The goal was simple and intentional: document the students, educators, and learning environments that define Franklin day to day, while honoring the school’s deep roots in the Highland Park community. The work centered on presenting an honest reflection of pride, access, and opportunity—free from assumptions and polished narratives.

Serving a predominantly Latino and high-needs student population, Franklin stands as a strong example of what a neighborhood school can offer when it fully invests in its students. The campus provides multiple academic pathways, including a STEM Magnet, Dual Language Academy, School for Advanced Studies, and career-focused tracks spanning engineering, computer science, education, and construction management. ATTAIN’s role was to capture that reality through lived moments—classrooms in motion, hands-on learning, and the everyday energy that reflects both rigor and belonging.

Working closely with Principal Marine Davtyan, ATTAIN assembled a trusted creative team, including Andreas Branchand Preston Brown, to execute the project with care and authenticity. The resulting visuals now serve as part of Franklin’s archival library and future outreach efforts, helping strengthen connections with families, alumni, and community partners. More than a century into its history, Franklin continues to evolve—home to emerging engineers, bilingual scholars, artists, athletes, and future educators learning side by side in a campus defined by excellence, possibility, and pride.
